Saturday Afternoon Haul - May 27, 2023

This Memorial Day weekend we've got a quick haul that takes us way back to 1988. The local Walmart had a few of the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles wave. A few weeks ago, I picked up Krang and this time they had a few more including Baxter Stockman, Genghis Frog--and the two I picked up shirtless Shredder and a Foot soldier! Ironically, these are two figures I never had during the original run. I don't remember all of the ones I had, but I do recall having some of the Turtles, Splinter and April. These new releases--including the wonderful artwork--let's me a close the circle from all those years ago! (Only this time they stay firmly in the package)

Also at Walmart, a few more of the Spinmaster figures hit the pegs. I picked up the Keaton Batman. These figures are pretty good for being so small.

And finally, I found the Tim Drake Robin Hot Wheels (in this case, a 2011 Charger) which is part of this five-pack. Most of them I'd seen before and I'm not a Hot Wheels collector, but the Robin car and that cool Batgirl retro auto make this one pretty unique and a sure pick up.
