Frankenstein! - Saturday Afternoon Haul - Sunday, November 20, 2022

A quick Saturday Afternoon Haul on this SUNDAY! My latest snag has arrived and that is the DC Multiverse Frankenstein! This is one of the Megafigs that are around 10" or so and the first Megafig I've purchased. The figure looks really good--on par with the much more expensive statues of similar size. Frankenstein is one of the reinterpretations of the famous literary monster (Marvel did their version, too) who first appeared in a DC mag in Detective Comics #135 in 1948. This version, created by Grant Morrison, appeared in 2005, as part of the Seven Soldiers of Victory. As part of the 2011 DC reboot, The New 52, Frankenstein got his own title called Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E. A very unique character since his creation in 1818 by Mary Shelley, Frankenstein continues to "live on" in numerous comics--including our own Osbourn Draw Studios character Nightcock!
