Super7 announces ReAction+ Frankenstein, Bride and Mummy figures

Super7’s latest ReAction+ wave brings fans new figures of the Frankenstein Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein and the Mummy.

The long-awaited (ok, for me, at least) second wave of ReAction+ Universal Monsters are announced and available to purchase from Super7. This wave, unsurprisingly, gives us the Frankenstein monster, the Bride of Frankenstein and the Mummy. Each figure is 4" tall and features 12 points of articulation. These are the Reaction "Plus" versions that mimc the old G.I. Joe-style figures and follow last year's release of Dracula, Wolf Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.

These figures are scary, but not as much as the price, which saw a $5 bounce from the Drac pack from less than a year ago nowing hitting a whopping $25 per figure. The saving grace, if there is one, with the figures is the artwork on the cardbacks. The Frankenstein monster especially stands out.

Here at Cereal Creatures, we opted for the monster and his bride as we're not the biggest fans of the mummy. Maybe down the line, but we're really interested in if there will be a third wave. The Invisible Man would be a sure pickup, but we'd probably skip the Phantom. A Metaluna Mutant would be a hit, but I'm not sure who the fourth slot would go to. Personally, I'd love to see a Dr. Frankenstein or even a Renfield.
