Halloween Haunt 2025: First decor haul from Target launches an early spooky season

Our first Halloween decor haul of 2025 features spooky season merch from Target as our earliest Halloween Haunt begins.

People used to claim that the Christmas shopping season was beginning earlier each year. However, Halloween has now taken over that trend, with new decor appearing in stores as early as May, a full six months before the October 31 holiday.

We're not complaining, of course. Here at Cereal Creatures we're all in for the coolest, spookiest Halloween decor. We're a little impartial as we prefer merch based on our favorite monsters and those that featre a vintage aesthetic. Having seen releases from At Home and Cracker Barrel, the surprise debut of Hyde and EEK! branded offerings hit it out of the ballpark that included Dracula, the Frankenstein monster and a werewolf.

It was a hard choice to pick just three options--our self-imposed limit. But, we did and even snuck in a bonus. Here's our first Halloween decor haul of 2025, part of our annual Halloween Haunt event.

Halloween Haunt 2025 is an annual event celebrating all things Halloween across Cereal Creatures blog, comics and merchandise.

My favorite piece so far is the Frankenstein Vac form wall hanging. These sold out quickly in stores last year, so I'm glad they came back and with one of my favorite characters. Plus, it was only $10.

Next up is the light and sound Werewolf! He has a light up blow mold type head and has multiple sayings. He's a whopping 60" tall and was our most expensive item at $35.

Next up is the 18" blow mold of Target's mascot "Lewis," a jack-o'lantern ghoul in a robe. He's powered by AA batteries and has a 6 hour automatic shutoff feature.

And for our bonus item, we picked up this werewolf and full moon duo. They're plus and connected together. While pretty small, they are very unique in a 90's kind of vibe and only cost $5.
