Yes, I made a Frankenstein coffee pot

Yes, that's right--I made a Frankenstein coffee pot or more specifically a Keurig.

As a huge Frankenstein fan, when I saw this unique green color one day in Target an idea sparked. But I passed. I wasn't sure how I'd do it and I just didn't have time. Then, when holiday shopping last year Target had it on sale! This time, I couldn't pass (although I still didn't have time).

Next, I had to figure out how to transform it. The neck bolts were pretty easy, but the stitches took some doing. Add a little blood red paint and we have a monster pot.

It wouldn't be a complete picture unless I included a bag of Boris Karloff-branded coffee and the latest Universal Monsters Frankenstein mug just in from Universal Studios Orlando's store.

The art project turned out fantastics and now, each morning when I power up the Keurig, I can wholeheartedly exclaim "It's alive! It's alive!"
