Universal Monsters, Svengoolie, Peanuts headline Super7 Boodega event

For the past few years, toy and merchandise retailer Super7 has launched their Halloween-themed Boodega event--and this year it's kicking off with figures from Universal Monsters, Svengoolie and Peanuts. If there's a proverbial bullseye for brands that we love here at Cereal Creatures, you couldn't get much closer in hitting the target.
The first wave of the Universal Monsters ReAction+ is here and features Dracula, Wolf Man and Creature from the Black Lagoon. These 3.75" scale action figures are based on the O-ring design that were most recognizable from the classic G.I. Joe line of figures. They include swivel head and arms, elbow and knee hinges and disk joint shoulders. The cardback has all-new artwork inspired by the classic movie posters. Dracula has a candelabra, while Wolf Man has a cane. Creature is listed as including a fossilized hand, but it's not shown in any of the promo shots. Both non-scaly monsters are licensed by their actors' estates so you get a passable Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney Jr. likeness. Each retails for $20.
Svengoolie is back again—this time in coffin-shaped packaging. The MeTV horror host can peek out of his coffin just like he does on the show, and don't worry, rubber chicken lovers, he has one of those to throw, too.
Super7 is delivering more of the Super Cycles. For Boodega, a $65 Universal Monsters Mummy is up for grabs. We've not picked up any of these oddities--but we really like the Frankenstein monster version.
And finally, and possibly our favorite of the bunch, is the ReAction "I got a rock" Charlie Brown. Officially called Charlie Brown (Ghost Sheet), the 3.75" figure includes his brown trick or treat bag and yes, a rock. The unlucky Chuck is displayed on a bold, visual cardback as seen in "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and a similar spooky scene from the flick adorns the back of the packaging. This one is also $20.
Super7 even throws in free downloadable pumpkin carving stences featuring the Boodega logo and their Mummy Boy mascot.
