In this fresh Halloween decor haul, we're showcasing some of our top picks of the season. We adore each item we add to our collection. However, as the spooky shopping season starts to wind down (nooo!!!!), we're grabbing a few of our most desired merchandise.
We're starting with what has been a holy grail find that we've searched for, but never found--then one Saturday morning there they were at the local Ross Dress for Less.
These cookie jars featuring pastel takes on Dracula and the Frankenstein monster and have become a real centerpiece in the kitchen in a way I didn't expect.
We were so excited to find these and they really were the high point in our annual haunt hunting adventures.

To my suprise, Ross also had the Dracula design in a mug the same day. Let's just say that was a very good day!

In general, we decided we were not going pick up many of the dog toys this year. Sure, there were lots of new, cool-looking toys, especially Frankensteins and scarecrows, but they're kind of hard to display and we did pick up a lot last year. As I was about to walk away from that section in the local Marshalls, I joked to myself "I'm glad they don't have licensed Universal Monsters dog toys." Not ten seconds later did I see out of the corner of my eye these two: Dracula and the Wolf Man, officially licensed dog toys.

This was a continuing of Michaels strange, but welcome bathroom-themed monsters. Last year, we picked up Frankenstein, Dracula and the headless horseman on the toilet. This year, we get the monster and the Bride in a bathtub. We found this one online during one of Michaels' discount sales and couldn't pass it up.

These guys are officially licensed Frankenstein carpet slippers from Spirit Halloween online. I mean--why not?

A late arrival from Target, these are glow-in-the-dark pillows featuring their take on the Frankenstein monster this year. When they arrived I was surprised at how heavy-duty they felt and they were bigger than I expected based on what I'd seen online.

Five Below nails it again with these Care Bears x Universal Monsters collab figures.

Another Target pickup was this green ghost plush. He dances and makes noise, but we really just picked it up because we like the green color--not something that you see too often and it has a Slimer vibe.

We love Hot Stuff (we do a little comic called Teen Satan, after all) and when this plush came up in our eBay listings we had to have it. On a side note, I am surprised we don't see more of this character in pop culture.

And finally, we end this haul with more Universal Monsters in the form of this cloth door cover. Last year, we picked up the Frankenstein monster version, but this year they went all monster rally and included all the big hitters. Also, really happy they included the Invisible Man!
