San Diego ComicCon 2025 (SDCC) is on and we're getting our first look at some of the new things coming from NECA's world of Universal Monsters plus 19 Crimes wine and Funko's Dracula castle.
First up and most exciting are these "Classic Movie Monster" versions that harken back to the Imperial versions from the mid to late 1980s. Included in the set are the Mummy, Frankenstein monster, Dracula and Wolf Man. Planned for Q1 2026 and available from the NECA online store, we're wondering if they'll be forced on us as a set.

We previously shared that this SDCC exclusive figure, a glow-in-the-dark Bride of Frankenstein complete with Remco-style packaging is coming soon for those who picked up the pre-order.

The Toony Terror featuring the Phantom of the Opera, the Bride, the Invisible Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon were also show off at SDCC, but no release date was given. That probably means they are coming very soon if not already here.

And not part of SDCC, but we just found it! Funko is offering this Bitty POP! version of Dracula with his castle for $8 from its online store. Does this look like the one from the movie? I don't recall.

And we're keeping an eye out for confirmation about 19 Crimes and another year of Universal Monsters bottled wine. This year in the UK, they look to feature "glow in the dark" variety and The Mummy joins the Frankenstein monster and the Bride. Will they make it to our side of the pond? Stay tuned this fall!
