This week Funko showed off new POPs figures from Universal Monsters including patchwork and anime versions, plus we look at upcoming Garfield's Halloween Adventure figures from Boss Fight Studio.
First up, Funko debuted eight new Funko POPs features two different lines of Universal Monsters. The first are a unique anime design, which I first saw as designs from Hot Topic. I picked up an anime Frankenstein pin last year, but from Hot Topic's most recent semi-annual sale I picked up a great anime Frankenstein shirt. Other characters in this wave include the Bride, Dracula and the Invisible Man.

The second Funko wave of monster are patchwork designs with characters includeing Frankenstein, Dracula, the Bride and Invisible Man again. Unfortunately, Wolf Man and the Creature from the Black Lagoon didn't get any love this time around, although having the Invisible Man is great!
All of the Funko POPs are available for pre-order. The patchworks are expected in May 2026 while the anime versions should hit a month later in June. Check your favorite retailer for availability. Amazon had a few at the last check. Entertainment Earth had them all. All retail for around $15.

Each Halloween, right behind "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" is the 1985 animated favorite Garfield's Halloween Adventure. In the story, the fat cat and his naive, but loyal canine Odie head out to gather "candy, candy, candy," but end up on the run from ghost pirates!
The cartoon adventure comes to toy form with this two-pack featuring Garfield and Odie in their pirate costumes. Garfield has 25 points of articulation, Odie has 13. Both come with multiple accessories and face expressions.
Strangely, unlike the Peanuts special, there isn't much Garfield merch out at Halloween, especially since the Garfield special is nearly as beloved as Great Pumpkin. Technically, the 40th anniversary of the special was last year having debuted on Oct. 30, 1985. Maybe this year we'll see more merch hitting shelves a little late--just like this offering that is expected June 2026. Cost is $45.
