NECA to drop Son of Frankenstein figure, plus Fright-Rags boxer briefs

Cereal Creatures previews upcoming Son of Frankenstein figure from NECA and Universal Monsters boxer briefs from Fright-Rags.

According to reports online, we're seeing a possible Friday, Aug. 7 pre-order availability of a "Son of Frankenstein" Frankenstein Monster figure from NECA.

The figure shows Boris Karloff, in his final picture as the Frankenstein monster, decked out in his woolly brown duds.

We're surprised this wasn't shown at the recent San Diego Comic-Con (as far as we know), but happy to have any new Universal Monsters figures after the cancellation of the Classic Movie Monsters 4-pack earlier this summer.

While the pre-order goes live Aug. 7, we've not been able to confirm if this is available from NECA online, Walmart, or the usual online toy stores. We'll update this post when we learn more.
