Halloween continues with a special vintage decor haul, the arrival of the Hallmark Creature from the Black Lagoon ornament and a few new art items from our spooky sketchbook!

We picked up a couple die-cut cardboard Halloween pieces earlier in the haunt hunting season and now we found two more that were a cap to our Halloween Haunt season!

These vintage pieces bring the magic of the 80s back to our abode with stylized representations of our two favorite monsters: the Frankenstein monster and the Wolf Man! The Wolf Man is very Lon Chaney-inspired, but the Frankenstein is kind of its own thing. He has the Karloff Brow, but then blends a little Glenn Strange and tops it off with white skin color, a bondage-inspired collar (maybe to avoid the neck bolts). The best part is the totally 80s earring.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon ornament from Hallmark has arrived from the depths! Lately, Hallmark's quality has been inconsistent, but this Universal Monsters offering doesn't disappoint. It's easily big enough to use as a tabletop decor piece or small enough to hang on a Christmas tree.
