Blood of the Wolf Man, a Universal Monsters Comics Mini-Series Arrives This June

This June, Image Comics and Skybound revive a Universal Monsters classic with an all-new tale in Blood of the Wolf Man. Fans of the iconic monster universe can expect a fresh twist on legendary lore in this anticipated release.
The story, written by Joshua Williamson and illustrated by Leomacs, centers on college student Adam Jaeger. After surviving a brutal massacre, Adam begins to suspect he may be at the heart of the violence—raising the chilling question: Is he The Wolf Man?
The debut issue, Universal Monsters: Blood of the Wolf Man #1, carries forward the Universal Monsters licensed comics line. Its connection to the legacy of Larry Talbot, the original Wolf Man, remains mysterious. Perhaps Adam is a distant descendant, or it’s possible his family crossed paths with Talbot, bringing the curse into modern times.

Regardless of how the Wolf Man’s legacy unfolds, anticipation is high. The Wolf Man and Frankenstein’s monster remain favorites among fans, and this book follows on the heels of dedicated mini-series for Dracula, Frankenstein, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Invisible Man, and Phantom of the Opera. Could the Bride of Frankenstein or a monster mash be up next? Readers are left howling for more as excitement builds for this latest addition to the Universal Monsters saga.
The Wolf Man returns June 24.
